This guide covers the manual IMAP settings needed to connect your WebPanda email account to the New Microsoft Outlook for Windows. You can watch the video below or follow the written steps.
1. Open Outlook and click Add account
Open the New Microsoft Outlook. In the left-hand pane, click Add account to begin setting up your WebPanda email address.
2. Enter your WebPanda email address
Enter your full WebPanda email address in the Add account window, then click Continue.
3. Enter your password and show more settings
Outlook will open the IMAP setup screen. Enter the password for your WebPanda email account, then turn on Show more to display the incoming and outgoing mail server settings.
4. Enter the incoming IMAP settings
Under IMAP Incoming Server, enter your WebPanda mail server details:
Server: mail.yourdomain.co.za
Port: 993
Secure connection type: SSL/TLS
Replace yourdomain.co.za with your own domain name.
5. Enter the outgoing SMTP settings
Under SMTP Outgoing Server, enter the following:
Server: mail.yourdomain.co.za
Port: 465
Secure connection type: SSL/TLS
Use your full WebPanda email address as the SMTP username, and enter the same email password you used above.
6. Finish setting up the account
Click Continue to save the settings and let Outlook connect to your WebPanda email account.
New Outlook may then ask permission to sync your IMAP account with Microsoft Cloud. Review the message and click Continue to complete the setup.
Your WebPanda email is ready
Your WebPanda email account should now be available in the New Microsoft Outlook. Send yourself a quick test email to confirm that both sending and receiving are working correctly.
